My Packaging design process:

• I start with initial sketches and thumbnails to decide the direction of the project.
• What is the shape of the package going to be & how will it affect the final design?
• Because these are going to be printed, the files need to be set in a CYMK format and the dyeline and bleed need to be set up correctly so no content is lost.
• Sometimes near the end of the project cycle a client may ask for a mock-up to visualize the end result.
